The silence on Hamas’ atrocities is deafening

The Israel-Hamas ceasefire has ended and fighting has resumed amidst outcries for the release of the remaining hostages, antisemitic attacks in US cities and universities, and an overdue UN condemnation of the sexual violence against women perpetrated by Hamas on October 7. US Representative Pramila Jayapal is currently taking heat from Jewish organizations for minimizing the Hamas rapes, while Beyoncé is receiving backlash from anti-Israel fans for not cancelling the screening of Renaissance in Israel.
