The attack was set to take place on or around the one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 massacre, with the suspect, an ISIS supporter, saying that he wanted it to be “the largest attack on U.S. soil since 9/11.”
Instead of simply shouting and banging drums on the lawns of universities, let’s be the generation that boldly confronts the challenges of our time with wisdom and courage.
Until the university improves campus security, Rabbi Elie Beuchler’s warning remains clear: Columbia University is currently not a safe place for Jewish students.
“It is terrifying to see such a large number of students chanting for the destruction of Israel knowing that the university has not taken any measures to control the protest.”
