Magnum Opus of a Monster | Faces of the Holocaust

Maria Mandl, an art and music aficionado, was one of the highest ranking female SS officers of the Nazi party. Known as “The Beast”, Mandl was ultimately held responsible for the death of half a million victims of the Holocaust, after redefining her role in society to become a perpetrator of some of the most gruesome war crimes in World War Two.
