Yael Shy

Yael Shy, Esq. is the founder and CEO of Mindfulness Consulting where she supports individuals and institutions with transformative mindfulness coaching, consulting, and teaching for more ease, joy, and growth. She is the former senior director of NYU’s Global Spiritual Life Center and the founder of Mindful NYU, the largest campus-based mindfulness initiative in the country. Yael is the author of the award-winning book, “What Now? Meditation for Your Twenties and Beyond” (Parallax, 2017) and an adjunct professor at NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service and the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. She can be found at
