Sharon Freundel is the managing director of the Jewish Education Innovation Challenge. Prior to that, she worked for over 35 years in Jewish day schools as the department chair for Tanakh (Bible) and Torah SheBa’al Peh (Rabbinics), the Mashgicha Ruchanit (Spiritual Guidance Counselor) of the Upper School at the Berman Hebrew Academy and the director of Jewish life at the Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School of the Nation’s Capital. She is passionate about Jewish education and spreading its lessons as far and wide as possible.
