Miriam Nisonen Oliver is a master’s student in musicology and Jewish studies at the University of Toronto. She researches the intersections of Israeli opera and collective memory, and is currently the co-president of the University of Toronto’s Hillel. Miriam holds a Bachelor of Music in voice performance and Italian studies from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada.
