Social media is filled with videos of Jews being attacked in the Los Angeles-area Tuesday night.

The video getting the most attention appears to show a group of Jewish diners being assaulted outside of a restaurant.

According to CBS Los Angeles:

Witnesses said a mob of pro-Palestinians attacked a group of Jewish men who were dining at the restaurant. Cell phone video showed a group of men get out of the car and start to attack them while yelling racial slurs.

Social media reports say a caravan of cars belonging to the pro-Palestinian mob was driving through West Hollywood asking people if they were Jewish.

One of the diners, who is not Jewish, told CBSLA a caravan waving pro-Palestinian flags approached and then began throwing bottles at him and the group he was dining with. The man said he is a photographer and the group was meeting at the restaurant to plan a wedding.

The man said he was physically attacked when he tried to defend the group. He said the men used anti-Jewish profanity. He said he was pepper sprayed during the attack and had to go to the hospital.

In another incident, security camera footage shows a car apparently chasing down an Orthodox man in a different L.A. neighborhood.

Kosher restaurant Orange Delite & Grill was also vandalized.

The attack was condemned by the mayor of L.A. and the ADL.

Violence broke out last May in Los Angeles after Black Matters protesters marched through a Jewish neighborhood. Then several Jewish owned business were vandalized and a synagogue was defaced.

The attacks come during a major escalation of antisemitism following the conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. In Britain, antisemitic hate crimes are up 600% since the start of the conflict.
