Gal Gadot was born on April 30, 1985, and in honor of her birthday we are digging up some old childhood photos.
In 2017 Gadot stopped by the Today Show to promote her film “Justice League.” Host Willie Geist had other plans and unearthed some rarely seen photos of Gadot’s early childhood.
Gal, whose name is Hebrew for “wave,” grew up in an Israeli town on the banks of the Yarkon River. Her last name, Gadot, means “shore” or “bank of a river.”
The photos show a precocious Gadot – who grew up to become a typical teen who played sports, babysat and worked at Burger King.
Gadot fans have rarely seen such young photos of the actress. Most archival pictures show an adult Gadot in the “Fast and the Furious” movie franchise or at her 2004 appearance at the Miss Universe pageant.
